CeleraPro’s SATCOM practice was built from our experience in precision-critical support to the NRO and National assets. Our solutions include architecture, engineering, and design efforts for the development of RF systems supporting military and national communication and satellite systems. We provide full life cycle support from requirements development, through engineering design and development, integration and test, operations and maintenance (O&M)
CeleraPro provides a full range of SATCOM and Telecommunications solutions:
- Communications systems architecture includes systems engineering, solutions development, system integration, and system operations for satellite and design of wideband, and wireless military and national, satellite, and terrestrial communications systems and encryption/decryption (including KGs), etc.
- Link Analysis as well as waveform and carrier analyses, Link budget, calculation of C/N, S/N, Eb/No, transmit EIRP, use of STK (System (Satellite) Toolkit) and RF Band characterization (C, Ku, Ka, L, S-band)
- Ground terminal engineering solutions include terminal and modem performance analysis, payload data processing, network technology, systems engineering, performance analysis, information security, risk management, etc.
- Terrestrial Network support includes enterprise architectures, network planning, systems engineering, cutting edge design (e.g., Software Defined Networking), analysis, implementation, and operations, including support for secure and non-secure voice, video, and data using NIPRNet and SIPRNet connectivity
Past Performance: CeleraPro leadership has supported SATCOM and satellite system developments in the capacity of a SETA in several instances, including:
- Development of NRO requirements documents for national assets, and subsequent support to the configuration management of those documents, including Space and Ground Segment specifications. That work included SETA oversight of satellite system development including bus, payload integration, ground segment developments, testing, and approvals to proceed through segment and program PDRs and CDRs.
- Support to the NRO Comms Directorate and leadership of a team chartered with identifying NRO-wide impacts to changes in Comms Requirements documents.
- Systems Integration (SI) support to the development of a 60 foot dish Remote Ground Terminal at Buckley Air Force Base in Colorado, inclusive of associated Comms elements, such as the TWTA, Radome, KGs, S-band and L-band RF Links, and transmission and receiving equipment.
- Leadership of the NRO Independent Technical Audit Team that reviews national asset and SATCOM programs prior to PDR and CDR to independently assess readiness for that milestone.
